Sara Lynn Eastler

Midcoast Maine writer

Sara Lynn Eastler is a writer in Midcoast Maine where she dutifully serves her feline overlord and flock of treat-loving chickens. She is an MFA candidate at Queens University of Charlotte where she serves as an assistant poetry editor for Qu Literary Magazine. Her recent work examines society's changing views of women, the unspoken components of relationships, and the human experience through a scientific lens. She's the 1999 winner of the Elizabeth Babcock Poetry Award and an active member of Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance (MWPA) and Maine Poets Society (MPS). Her work can be read in journals such as The Bangalore Review, Passengers Journal, Anodyne, Stanza, Cathexis Northwest Press, and Voices of Decolonization. She has had the pleasure of working with Rigoberto González, Morri Creech, and Marcus Jackson.
